Watkins Chapbooks

Gerry has collaborated twice with Patsy Watkins, retired Chair of the UA Communications Department, starting with Invisible Guests (1993, under the Picadilly Press logo). Patsy had done a series of DIY chapbooks with local poets in the 'nineties, all designed and lovingly hand-stitched by her. In 2024, when Gerry collaborated with Suzanne Rhodes on the Flyways dual chapbook project, he was able to lure Patsy out retirement for an encore, this time using bird images provided by George Dombek, one of Arkansas' premier graphic artists. Patsy worked her magic again, both books in limited editions of 100 copies.
